We Make Sure You Are Heard
COTAPSA Represents
COTAPSA has successfully bargained on behalf of their membership for statutory holidays, getting back “lost wages,” securing fair treatment in regard to Sick Leave Days, and the enrichment of members’ retirement plan. We are currently on the brink of a Framework Agreement with the City of Toronto regarding the terms and conditions of the employment of our members.
COTAPSA’s Role is To:
- Represent the interests of the association’s members
- Obtain the views of the members respecting matters of concern to them and to present such views to the administration or City Council
- Promote a high standard of conduct and efficiency in the civic service and to promote continuous co-operation with City Council
- Regulate employee relations between non-union employees and the City of Toronto
